Event Center

Allen Event Center was opened in 2009, just next door to Allen Mortuary. The facility is a beautiful place to meet with family and friends to share remembrances and refreshment. When you book your banquet service at our center, there is no need to worry about any of the details of transporting guests, food, logistics or cleanup. Just a few short steps from the main chapel, our spacious room can hold up to 100 guests. Also the home of Allen Flower Shop, the space is elegantly decorated with plants, flowing fountain, and floor length windows. Also supplied is a large flat screen television for displaying personal memories on DVD, and an audio, sound and P.A. system.

All of our packages include: 2-3 hour room rental, on-site chef, choice of a variety of entree packages to suit any need*, round tables, padded chairs, floor length table linens, room attendant, and use of all audiovisual equipment. For your convenience, our package menu is available for download.

Our on-site gourmet chef, Kate-Lynns', has over 13 years of experience in banquet/catering events. They are happy to custom design a menu to suit your tastes. In addition to gourmet American cuisine, Kate-Lynns' specializes in Mexican, Italian, French or Portuguese specialties.

Our guests have been delighted with the delicious food and the comfortable environment in which to relax, visit and take pictures after the activities of the day.
