I love you grandpa! You were always the rock in my life. If I ever needed advice or a big hug you were the person I turned to. I will miss you greatly, but Jesus is smiling because his angel finally came home. I love you!!

Well Gramps, you made it to heaven! You have taught the whole family that death is not a sad thing, but an exciting and wonderful entrance into a better place. We will miss you, but are so happy that you are finally where you always wanted to be. Listen for Parker and DJ...they look up to heaven and say "Hi Big Grandpa!" Its amazing that even a 2 and 3 year boy know their Big Grandpa is "having fun playing in heaven" :)

I knew Dr. Ahlem as the Chairman of the Psychology Department at Stanislaus State College in the late 60's. He literally gave me the honor of being his secretary and I have always valued those several years of working for him. His dedication to God and his family, and his genuine interest in his students was always a priority with him. Virginia Matthew

My deepest regrets to the Ahlem family. I will always remember Mr. Ahlem for his humor, his friendliness, his brilliance, his humanity and his Christianity. He contributed so much to all that met him and to our community. He will be sorely missed. Larry Smith
