Ruth was born in Oklahoma. Her family came to California in the early 1940’s and lived in Richmond. Later they settled in Delhi where she lived for 65 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Reuben Ruse, and by two sons: Billy Ray Selph and Larry Ruse.
Ruth is survived by a daughter Janice Weaver of Delhi and a son Garey (Deborah) Ruse of Turlock; two sisters: Lola Peters of Oakdale, CA, and Willie Adkins of Louisiana; Eight Grandchildren: Jude Selph of Kentucky, Teri (Selph) Henneman of Modesto, Stephen Selph, Ronnie Rowe and Shawn Rowe of Delhi, Stephanie Griffith and Kaysey Ruse of Turlock, and Shelley Selph; Nine Great Grandchildren, Eleven Great Great Grandchildren, and countless other friends who called her “Mom” and “Grandma”.
There will be a Graveside Service to honor Ruth at Turlock Memorial Park on Friday, July 30th, 11:00am. Visitation will be at Allen Mortuary on Thursday, July 29th from 4 to 6:00pm. Please leave memories and condolences at www.allenmortuary.com.
