I am deeply saddened and shocked to learn of Ryan's death. My heart breaks for his family who no longer has him here with them. I can only imagine how devastating this is. I extend my deepest condolences to his mom, brothers, sisters, in-laws, nieces, nephews, and beloved friends.
Ryan and I had only sporadic contact over the past fifteen years but I have fond memories of him and the time we spent together so many years ago. One of my fondest memories of him was his proposal to me at the end of an entire pack of Muppets-themed Valentine's Day cards. Although were not right for each other in the end, I will always remember how sweet and perfect that was.
I knew and remember Ryan as an incredibly kind, loving, generous, and thoughtful man. He was fun to be with and quite funny with a laugh like no other. Trips to Great America and Jimmy Buffet concerts were more fun with him along.
We have lost a truly good person with Ryan's passing. My thoughts and heart are with you all.

I'd like to offer my sincerest condolences to Ryan's family for their loss. Ryan was a great friend, funny, loyal, kind and intelligent. It came as a great shock to me to learn that Ryan had passed. He and his loved ones will be in my thoughts and prayers.
Ryan was one of a trio of guys I met when we were seniors in high school. We shared some fun times and made some great memories that I still cherish. Sadly, the years have passed too quickly and I lost touch with my old friend. Although it had been years since I had seen him... I still feel cheated that he was taken away so suddenly.
My heart goes out to his family during this time. There are no words that can ease the pain or answer the many questions. Take heart in knowing that he was able to meet and enjoy the next generation of your family. I'm sure the children will take a bit of his sports wisdom with them as they grow.
Rest in peace Ryan. Via Con Dios.
We met in our Campaigns and Elections class at Stan State and partnered for our class project. We became instant friends, took many classes together, studied much, and walked the graduation stage together. What great times we had just hanging out, throwing darts, or watching a game. As time passed our lives went different directions but I often thought of him and "the good ol' days". I am shocked and saddened to learn he is no longer with us. He spoke often of his family and loved them dearly. My prayers and condolences go to his family and friends. God Bless You.

For 36 years you were by my side as my little brother as well as my friend. One phone call changed that..... I'm not sure what happens now, but one thing is for certain, your memory will live on and your nephews, nieces and future one's will know about their uncle "TIGGER!" You are the best little brother anyone could ever ask for! I will always love you and cherish all the memories we had together. I would say "Spread your wings and fly, but Tigger doesn't fly he bounces.....So bounce, bounce, bounce!"
Love, "Your Big Brother always Kyle"
