Shirley was a lovely acquaintance and a great writer. We met at The Writers Club in Merced. She never failed to make newcomers feel welcome and always had a great story or fruit and vegetables to share. Her stitchery was awesome! She was an artist in many venues. I'm sorry we lost touch when I moved away. Heaven is a more interesting place now. My sympathies to her family.
