The Obituary

An obituary is a newspaper notice of the death of a person that contains a biographical sketch. In addition to the state-mandated information for the death certificate, Allen Mortuary will need the following information to complete your loved one's obituary.

Your arrangement counselor at Allen Mortuary will submit the obituary to the newspapers of your choice. Obituaries published by The Modesto Bee and the Turlock Journal involve a charge based on length. Most out-of-area newspapers may also charge a fee.
