Susan Marie Santos, age 69 of Oakdale, CA passed away on November 27, 2025 at UCSF in San Francisco.
Born April 25, 1956, to parents Raymond Joseph Dias and Doris June Dias in Turlock, California. She graduated Hilmar High School in 1974, where she met the love of her life, John Santos. They were married in May of 1976 and welcomed their first child Derek Santos in 1977 and their second child Corinne Santos in 1980.
Susan grew up riding horses and competing in gymkhana events at a young age. Later, she performed in the grand entry parade for the Turlock Rodeo. She was a member of the Turlock Horseman’s Club and the California Nevada Hereford Association. She loved her flower garden and hosting parties for family and friends. A longtime resident of Hilmar, she was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond (Doris) Dias and her husband, John Santos. She is survived by her sister, Sandra Dias of Hughson, CA; children, Derek Santos (Colby) of Kimberly, ID, Corinne Santos of Oakdale, CA, and grandchildren Alexander, Conner and Rachel Santos of Kimberly, ID.
There will be visitation at Allen’s Mortuary in Turlock, CA on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at 5:00pm, followed by a Rosary at 6:00pm. Funeral mass will be Thursday, December 18, 2025 at Holy Rosary Church in Hilmar, CA at 10:00am, followed by graveside service at Hilmar Cemetery.
