Deeply Cherished By Her Family

About the Service

No Services Are Planned

Abigail Eve Maze, daughter of Paul and Sarah Maze, came into this world at 10:47 p.m. on August 5, 2017 at Memorial Medical Center in Modesto, CA. Abigail, deeply cherished by her family, weighed 2 lbs., 1 oz. and was 15 ¼ inches long.

Having received a fatal diagnosis of anencephaly earlier in the pregnancy, Abigail’s parents chose to continue to carry her because of their faith in God and in celebration of Abigail’s life. Her parents treasured the time they were able to care for her and every movement Abigail made.  She passed into the arms of her Heavenly Father just before she was born.

Jesus is taking care of Abigail while she looks forward to being reunited with her Daddy, Mommy, big sister Ella, and grandparents Ed and Meri Maze and Bob and Rhonda McDonald.

The family would like to thank all of those who have prayed for us and especially for Abigail during the past several months. The family would also like to praise God for all of the ways he was and continues to be present in our lives during this season. Please share your sweet notes with the family on this website.

“For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.  So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” 2nd Corinthians 4:17-18

Remembrances

  1. Paul Sarah Ella, all my love to you,,,,Abigail, with every day that passed while in your mommys womb, you grew more and more precious to me. Though I knew you probably wouldn’t be with us long, that knowledge didn’t lessen the incredible saddness I feel. While I do not understand the ‘why’ I know God had a plan for you from the beginning. I take comfort in knowing that you are with our loving, good God. We will be reunited for eternity one day, what a joy that will be. Until then, much love, Ma-Ga

  2. Carried to Heaven on Angels wings. I will always be your miracle our hearts joined by love . Now a perfect little angel,I’m watching from above. One day we’ll meet again ,a lifetime I will wait . You will know the little angel with outstretched arms at Heavens gate. Keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. Your little angel is now your guardian watching over you til you meet again.

  3. My heart is broken like it has never been broken before. But I am comforted in knowing that Abigail is in your presence Lord. You wanted this sweet little Abigail to be with you now, for reasons we cannot fully understand at the moment. You have required much from Paul and Sarah and the family, but knowing your character, Lord, you will be giving much more in return. You have chosen Paul and Sarah for an amazing story that has already touched many lives and the story will continue. May your Will be done as You wish. I have many tears of sadness and of joy at the same time, knowing that Sweet Little Abigail will be running up to me saying ” Hi Papa” when my life is done here on earth.

    Ed “Papa”
