Angeline (Jelmini) Magniez, 93, of Delhi & Livingston, passed away in Turlock. Angie & her twin sister Adeline (Bucholtz) were born to John & Margie Jelmini in Big Pine, California. They spent their early years in Bakersfield. The family moved to Ballico in 1938. Angie attended Livingston High School where she met her future husband, Carl. The two married in 1940. During the War years the young couple lived in Florida, North Dakota, and Walla Walla, Washington. After the war they returned to Delhi, bought a farm and had two children, Steve and Jeannie (Winton). They worked their farm together for over fifty years. In addition to being a farm wife she also owned and operated Angie’s Beauty Shop for nearly fifty years.
Angie was an avid gardener, a wonderful cook, a generous hostess, and a gifted craftsperson. She sewed, knitted, quilted, did stained glass work, and enjoyed refinishing antique furniture. She was a devoted mother, a doting grandmother to five grandchildren, and took the greatest joy in her eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Carl, her sister Josephine, and brother John.
A Graveside Service will be on Saturday, March 28th at 10 o’clock at Turlock Memorial Park.
