Toni was born on December 21, 1954 in Oakdale, California, the oldest of four siblings.  After three years the family relocated to Turlock when her father accepted a new teaching position.

She enjoyed playing with her brothers as she grew up and especially enjoyed the annual summer road trips the family took across the country.  They would sleep in motels or camp in campgrounds, which was always a lot of fun.

Toni led a simple life and took great pride in her family, her home, her yard and of course the several pets she had over the years.  She passed her leisure time by doing embroidery work and crocheting afghan blankets.  Toni immensely enjoyed all her son’s practices and games for sports he played as he was growing up.  She was team mom for the sports teams and room duty mom during the elementary school years.  Nothing meant more to her than being there for her family.

Ever since Toni’s illness began, she kept an upbeat and positive attitude about life.  She wanted to stay around longer, but was willing to accept what was given her to deal with.

To her brothers, brother in laws, sister in laws, several nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews:  she is eternally grateful for your love, caring, thoughtfulness, consideration, kindness and concern.  For Bill and Johnny, words cannot begin to express the gratitude she feels for you.  You have both shown her what true love is; through all the ups and downs of this illness. God bless all of you.

Funeral service will be at Allen Mortuary on Friday, March 8, 2019 at 1:00 pm.

  3. Sandy Whitby says

I’ve always had a special place in my heart for Toni. Although I didn’t see her often after leaving the family, I thought of her often. She always came to the birthday parties of my grandchildren, her nieces & nephews. She will be truly missed.
    Love you Bill & Johnny.
