Billy Worden, 62, of Ceres, passed away at home. Billy was born in Bakersfield, CA to Charles and Mary Worden. Billy’s parents were travelling evangelists, so they moved around and he attended many schools. After completing high school, Billy drove trucks for Pepsi and for American Transfer before becoming a Deputy with Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department. He retired after 13 years as a Deputy Sheriff. Billy married Kimberly Tolleson in December of 1990. Billy was a family man. He loved spending time and playing games at home with his family.
Billy was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Kimberly Worden of Ceres; three children: Dee Dee (Lonnie) McCarty of Waterford, B.J.Worden (Dorea Flynn) of Waterford, Wendy (Craig) Matthew of Denair, and Billy Lee Worden II of Modesto; 11 grandchildren; and four siblings: Jane Ronsse, Bob Worden, Betty Lee, and Bonnie Ribeiro.
Viewing will be at Allen Mortuary on Wednesday, January 14th from 4 to 6 pm. Funeral Service will be held at Allen Mortuary on Thursday, January 15th at 10 am. Burial will follow the service. A reception lunch will be at Allen Event Center after the burial.
