About the Service

Celebration of Life at Calvary Lutheran Church. Modesto on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 11am.

Cindy was born on January 28, 1957 and passed away on July 24, 2017 at 60 years of age. She is survived by her husband Steven Trow of Turlock, her son Mark Niermeyer of Denair, and her broth Fred Schumacher of Manteca.

After graduating from Alameda High School in 1974, she became a registered veterinary technician. This love of animals stayed with her all her life. She trained and showed several different breed of dogs throughout the years. She had always wanted to become a veterinarian. She loved both cats and dogs, and left behind 2 dogs and 2 cats at home.

Following in her mother’s footsteps, Cindy had been a registered nurse since 1982. She held many positions throughout the years: ICU, Pediatrics, NICU, Case Manager, Employee Health Nurse and many more. A very diverse career made her very happy. Her smile and ease with which she helped her patients will live on.

Those of us who knew Cindy well will miss her wit, her no-nonsense, and her love for years to come.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Calvary Lutheran Church in Modesto on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 11am.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in her name to Westside Animals for Adoption in Patterson, CA.
