Concepcion Villareal Rodriguez

December 1925 – September 2013

Concepcion Rodriguez, 87, of Turlock, passed away at Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. She was born in San Marcos, Jalisco, Mexico, to Lorenzo and Petra Villareal. She attended school in Mexico and moved to California in 1947 when she married the love of her life, Enrique, who was manager of a ranch in Roberts Ferry, CA. They moved from the ranch when he became ill in 1989. Enrique passed away in 1994.

Concepcion was a full time homemaker. She loved cooking, sewing, shopping, and fulfilling her role as the heart of their home. She also loved birds and maintaining her rose gardens. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Concepcion is survived by her daughter Carmen (Jim) McClure of Turlock and son Henry Rodriguez of Turlock; grandchildren: Melissa (Jimbo) Williamson, Monica McClure, and Cory Rodriguez; great grandchildren: Alexia, Adrian, Andrea, Dominic, Emma, Alexandra, Olivia, Araya, and Myra; and siblings: Maria Diaz, Lola Ibarra, Esther Paredes, Elena Blanco, Desiderio Rivera, all of Mexico, and Jose (Mary) Amezquita of Turlock.

Visitation will be at Allen Mortuary on Sunday, Sept. 15th from 4 to 6 pm followed by a Rosary at 6:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Monday, Sept, 16th at 11 am. Burial will follow at Turlock Memorial Park.
