Edith Creekmore

July 1941 – September 2011

70 years, 2 months.

Edith Creekmore, 70, of Delhi lost her battle with cancer on Tuesday, September 20 at home. She was born in Mena, AR to Wallace and Geraldean Ham in 1941. At a young age, her family moved to Oakdale where she graduated from Oakdale High School in 1960. Edith lived in the Central Valley most of her life. She worked at Hanna’s Bakery in Modesto.

Edith is survived by her children, Shirley Robbins, Lisa Robbins, Carol Guess, Georjean Dennis, Ronda Bailey, Porter Storment III and Carolina Storment: siblings, Barbara Sutton, Hilton Ham, Ralph Ham, Allene Lindford and Philip Ham; 15 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Arrangements are entrusted to Allen Mortuary. A celebration of life will be held at Gateway Community Church in Denair on Saturday, September 24 at 11:00 am.
