Elizabeth (“Beth”) Rose McDonald, age 69 of Newman, passed away on May 30, 2018. Elizabeth was born in Modesto on December 10, 1948 to parents Frank Paugh and Cleo Northrup. She went to Hart Ransom Elementary and Modesto High School. She worked for the Modesto Police Dept., Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Dept., and retired with the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Probation Dept. She loved making Facebook friends, going to car shows, and watching TV. She was family-oriented, caring, and was loved by many people.
Elizabeth is survived by her four children: Michael McDonald (Deanna LaFrance) of Modesto, Matthew McDonald of Modesto, Michelle Hutchins (Jason) of Newman, and Eric McDonald of Modesto; her six grandchildren: Aja LaFrance, Jade McDonald, Anastacia Rose, Jaydon Hutchins, Cody Hutchins, and Kaydence Hutchins; three great-grandchildren: Carsyn LaFrance, Stryker Madden, and Kynzley Brunelli; and brother Frank Paugh of Modesto. She is predeceased by her husband Wayne D. McDonald, her parents, and her brother Gary Paugh.
Memorial service on Thurs., June 21st at 11am at Acacia Memorial Park, Modesto.

I enjoyed spending time with her. Her children and grandchildren were her life. Beth will be missed si much.
