Elmer Nodulski, 94, passed away in Turlock. Elmer was born in Ohio to Benjamin and Grace Nodulski. He attended school in Guthrie Center, Iowa. He worked in lumber most of his career as owner of The Wire Basket Company and then as the owner of Dutchman’s Flat Mill in Westport.
He was an avid reader and poker player with the Poker Prodigies and also never turned down a game of Sorry or Scrabble. His other great passion was fishing. The last few years his time was divided between Turlock and Iowa where he was raised.
He is survived by his children, Rosalie (Gary) King of Lompoc, Sharon (Russell) Johnson of Woodland Hills, Carla (Robert) Johns of Turlock and Debbie Nodulski of Turlock, six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and sisters Martha (David) Ganoe of Jefferson, Iowa and Edith Pontin of Belleville, Ontario.
Elmer requested no funeral services and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
