Gladys Virginia Fink-Halvorson, 87, of Turlock, passed away peacefully of natural causes at hee home surrounded by her immediate family Saturday.  She was born in Forrest City, Arkansas to George Benjamin and Lily Smith in January of 1933.  She enjoyed loving and taking care of her family, helping anyone and everyone she could, worshipping the Lord, reading her devotionals, watching Joyce Meyer on  TV, Hallmark love stories, cooking and cheering on President Trump via Fox 40 News.  These were all things you would see Gladys doing on any given evening.

She is survived by her sons and daughter in laws Ben and Patti Fink, Kirk and Benni Fink, her middle of three sons, Steve Fink, sadly preceded her in death in 2004, however Gladys always kept him alive in her heart, speaking of him regularly.  Those three sons gave her six grandchildren Brian, Michael, Jamie, Kyle, Jessica and Kayla Fink and they were Gladys’ whole world.  She played a consistently big role in all their daily lives, so needless to say her numerous great grandchildren were her “special treat from God”.

After sharing just a small overview of who Gladys (Dar as her family called her) was and will always be to her family.  Her death will leave her family feeling a giant void and they will never stop loving her.

The Fink family will be holding a viewing and funeral at Allen Mortuary on Monday, November 2, 2020 beginning at 11:00a.m. with interment to follow the 12:00 funeral at Turlock Memorial Park.
