Harold Dean Skinner Sr, 80, of Ceres, was born in Stillwell, Oklahoma to James and Lynne Mae Skinner. He went to school in California and graduated from Modesto High School. He also attended Modesto Junior College. He was a working cowboy at El Solyo Ranch and Faith Ranch since he was a teen. Harold was married to the love of his life, Arlene Skinner, for 55 years before her death. He was full of life; pitched fast pitch softball, played guitar and string bass. He enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting for coons and crawdads. He taught Sunday School, led Royal Rangers, and was an all-around handyman for Valley Christian Center for many years. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Arlene, and a brother Roudy Lee Skinner. He is survived by his four children: Hal (Kathy) Skinner of Ceres CA, Melody (Keith) Robertson of Volente TX, Brian (Ginger) Skinner of Castro Valley CA, and Dareama (David) Ruble of Clovis CA. Memorial contributions are encouraged for the Valley Christian Center, 2745 Second Street, Ceres CA 95307.
