Harold Eugene Climer, Sr.

Harold Climer Sr., 68, of Modesto, passed away at his own home after a short, brave battle with cancer. Harold was born in Tulare California to Clyde and Claudia Climer. He attended school in Dos Palos and Ceres High School. He started working in construction as a teenager and became a drywall finisher for 20 years. He married Rhonda Williams in 2002 and they have attended Victory Life Center in Modesto where were they both were baptized by Pastor Quillen. Harold loved to ride Harleys and he loved his family. He was happy to spend time at home with his family and tiny Chihuahua “Cowgirl” listening to country music and watching old western movies.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers: Mike Climer, Ronnie “Red” Climer, and James “Dog” Climer. He is survived by his wife Rhonda Climer of Modesto, 2 sons Harold Climer Jr. of Arkansas, Harley Climer of Modesto, and step-son Cody Pauley of Ohio; 3 grandchildren, Kaitlyn Climer, and Dylan, and Maddi Lynn Climer; siblings: Harlen Climer of Washington, Clyde (Janice) Climer of Keyes, Leon Climer of Fresno, Norman (Darline) Climer of Keyes, Darlene Coyle of Keyes, Arlene “Sissy” Climer of Modesto, Sam (Jaime) Climer of Modesto, Marilyn Beerbower and Darlene “Dinki” Waxler of Modesto, Momma Wanda Easley of Keyes, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Allen Mortuary on Monday, April 20th from 5 to 8 pm. Funeral Service will be held at Haven of Hope Church on Tuesday, April 21st at 11:30 am with burial to follow at Ceres Memorial Park.

I used to stay at the climber house when I was young.. Sorry to hear about Harold.. And red.. I remember Southern Pacific train went by your house in ceres.. 1970.. Red andBrothers Hopped that train and took many cases of Gallo wine.. We all partied for two weeks.. I cleaned up my life 35 years ago.. I hope red died in peace love Cheryl I remember sissy as a little girl and her sister getting ready for church on Sundays
