About the Service

Hope was born in Turlock, where she lived her whole life.  She worked as a tax preparer and bookkeeper for over 25 years, most recently with Jackson Hewitt.  Hope will be remembered by her family as a caring and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  Her hobbies included reading which she did daily, going to the casinos and being outdoors at her favorite locations in Snelling and Natural Bridges. Hope was always ready and willing to help others and would do anything for her family.  She treasured time spent with her children, grandchildren and more recently with her four year old great granddaughter.  Hope deeply loved her parents and never fully recovered from the loss when they passed away.

Hope is survived by her children Angel (Ulises) Lopez, Veronica (Samuel) Miranda and Cecilia Garcia; siblings Gilbert Giron Jr., Lorenz Giron and Gustavo Giron; grandchildren Alexandra Lopez, Ulises Lopez Jr., Alyssa Miranda, Emilio Lopez, Melina Miranda, and Nathan Ochoa; and great granddaughter Sophia Valenzuela.

She was preceded in death by her parents Gilberto and Bertha Giron and her brother and best friend Hector Giron.

  1. My Miss Hope, I’ll miss you as my partner in Turlock main office, as my teacher in JH, also as our always helper friend. I’ll always remember of you as “the best”, as I told you in front of our clients, because for us and everyone you are the best. Thank you Miss Hope, Thanks for everything. All my respect and condolences for the family. I’m so sorry.

  2. I knew Hope when we were young, 6th thru 9th grade. We lost touch but I will never forget her. She was kind and fun to be around. I remember how much she loved her brothers and her parents. I remember her dad was protective of her. She was definitely a daddy’s girl. She was a good person and I wish we had kept in touch. I will be praying for the families of both Hector and Hope.
