Jackie Rice passed away peacefully at the age of 82 at his residence in Turlock, California. He was born July 21, 1931 in Maysville, Oklahoma to Frank and Pearl Rice. He lived in Blythe, California and enlisted in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict as an Air Traffic Controller. He then lived in Lancaster, California and was in Retail Ag for many years. He was a fan of the San Francisco Giants and the L.A. Rams. He also was a coach for Girls Little League Soft Ball. He settled in Turlock eight years ago.
He is survived by his children: Jackie Dwayne Rice of Blythe, CA, Joni Nortune of Eugene, OR, and Frank Rice of Turlock; eight grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
He will be laid to rest at the Veterans San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Santa Nella.
