Jill Marie Bradley

Bradley, JwebMay 1962 ~ January 2015

Jill was born in Turlock to Jim and Val Bradley in 1962. She attended Sacred Heart Catholic School and later Turlock High School. Jill was a beautiful, fun-loving, free-spirited woman with so much love for her two boys, her animals, her friends and the outdoors.

At three years old, Jill was already riding horses on the family farm. She would sit on the fence and wait for the family horse named Red to walk by her and she would throw the rope around his neck and hop on and ride for hours, around and around in the corral. She grew up riding every day with the neighbors around the countryside.

Later she joined the Horseman’s Club and competed as a teen in barrel racing, which she did very well at.

She had a soft spot for all animals. She loved her pit bulls and cats and all pets.

She loved working in her yard more than in the house. She cherished her vegetable garden. Jill had a contagious laugh and vibrant personality that matched her red hair and freckles.

She will be deeply missed by so many of her friends and family.

Jill is survived by her two sons, Austin Gilman and Nick Gilman of Kansas; two brothers Mike (Judy) Bradley of Merced and Scott (Linda) Bradley of Modesto; one sister Denise (Stan) Soares of Turlock; one uncle Bo (Dedei) Banzhof of Turlock; many cousins, nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Jill’s life will be held in the spring on the family ranch.
