Johnathen’s absence in this life will be felt by many, and on a daily basis. He leaves a legacy that will never be forgotten as a proud father, protector & lover of people with a zest for Life. It is truly a God given gift to not only make people feel, but know that they are loved and Johnathen possessed that without question. Every “˜hello’ and every “˜so long’ was a huge smile, bear hug, and a heart felt “I love You”. He was an avid sports fan – especially the 49ers and Giants. He loved family vacations & gatherings, laughing with his brothers, cousins, and friends that were more like family. As a child, his passion and love for football and baseball were only matched by his amazing talent. He attended Virginia Parks, Mae Hensley, and was a proud Ceres High “˜Bulldog’ & Hughson High “˜Husky’ & standout athlete/MVP. As an adult that passion was shared with some very blessed children who he so generously gave his time and energy to by coaching them to find their own hidden talents. He coached the Hughson Oilers “˜02-“˜03, Modesto Raiders “˜16-’17 and volunteered with a multitude of youth teams in between. He took great pride in his work at the family business Green Eyes Manufacturing, and had many fun stories from prior employment at Acme Electric of Turlock, Turlock Auto Plaza, and even Crossroads Feed where he bucked hay through high school. Johnathen lived a life of service and sacrifice, volunteering as a coach, donating his time to the Turlock Moose Lodge alongside his parents & family, assisting with fundraisers for the Children’s Hospital, or just helping out a friend, person, or cause in need. Oh, and if you needed muscle? He had plenty and gave it freely- moving family and friends countless times, expecting nothing in return. It has been said that if you needed a dollar, and he didn’t have it to give, he would find a way to borrow one, give that to you, while he quietly carried the debt. He truly cared about people and felt the depth of their needs, empathetically and without judgment taking them on as his own. Johnathen had a true calling for loving others, and the world is a better place for having been blessed by his presence in it. If you knew Johnathen, then you will in no doubt remember him smiling, laughing, and loving life. And that is exactly what he would want each of us to do.

I give you a new commandment: Love one another.  As I have loved you, so you must love one another.  John 13:34

He leaves behind his loving Mother Juliet Perry (Mitch Giles), Fianc Sabrina, Baby Daughter Anastasia Perry, and Son Abraham; Brothers Tom Perry (Roxanna), Brian Perry (Taryn), & Matthew Perry (Ambur); Grandmother Anita McCabe, Godparents Manuel Perry & Debbie Cardoza; Godchildren Elijah, Jaycee, and Paige Perry; many aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends that he considered his family.  Preceeded in death by his Father Tom Perry Sr., Grandmother Mary Perry, Grandfathers Lee McCabe & Jack Dixon, Uncle Steve Parker, and Nephew Isaac Mannon.
