Joseph Edward Paris, 69, of Turlock, CA, went to be with his Savior on Thursday, January 25, 2018.

The son of Rev. Luther J. Paris and Doris M. (Beatie) Paris, he was born March 11, 1948, in Springfield, Missouri. Joe was a longtime consultant to the dairy industry and loved his job immensely. He traveled across the United States for his job and made life-long friends in every state.

Joe bravely fought terminal cancer 4 times over 20 years of his life and gave God the credit for each of his miraculous healings. Joe loved his family and his church and never missed an opportunity to share what the power of prayer can do in someone’s life.

Joe is preceded in death by his parents and survived by his wife Jacqueline; daughter Jennifer Paris; daughter and son in law Laurie and Dennis Carvalho; grandchildren Kimberly, Nicholas, Samantha and Katie Carvalho; sisters Sandy Raper and Joye Bunselmeyer; brothers David, Mark and Rusty Paris; and many wonderful brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at 10am on February 10th 2018 at Connecting Point Church of the Nazarene, 3200 E. Monte Vista Rd., Denair.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Joseph Paris’ name may be made to Nazarene Compassionate  Ministries.com.

I never knew that Joe shared the same middle name as my dad, Joseph Edward Gallo. I wonder if they both knew this?

  2. Linda Jelacich says

Joe Paris is someone we admire and respect. He was hard working, a gentleman and a faithful servant to God. Before meals at the ranch and our home for management dinners, he would lead us in prayer. He always had a wonderful story to tell or a kind word. The day was a little brighter when we saw Joe. We will miss you.

How well I remember Joe’s talent tickling the ivories. I enjoyed, not only listening to him, but playing piano/organ duets with him (there’s a tape somewhere!) Joe loved His Lord & was never shy sharing his Faith. I imagine Jesus & the Saints are gathered around one of Heaven’s grrand pianos listening to Joe.Love & HUGS to Jacquie & the family.
