Joseph (Joe) Anthony Reis
Aug. 1932 ~ Aug. 2020
Joe, a man well beloved by everyone, was born in Tracy, California to John and Rose Reis and passed away at the age of 87. He was a child of God and lived his life that way. In high school he met Doris Hutchinson and they remained high school sweethearts throughout their 68 years of marriage. Joseph was fondly known as “Honey” or “Honey Joe” by his friends and family.
He leaves his loving wife Doris Reis; children John Reis, Joe (Julie) Reis, Victoria (Charles) Tifft, Marian (Manuel) Garcia, David (Kelly) Reis and Rosie (Neil) Coleman; sister Margaret Oliveira; seventeen grandchildren and thirty great grandchildren.
Private services will be held.

August 27, 2020 at 4:00 amSteve and I just learned from online bible study that Joe moved to heaven. Our loss but heavens wonderful gain! I know Joe is hearing “You have run the race and finished your coarse, thou good and faithful servant!” Joe,please make sure theres a good fishing place there for all of us! To family: I am so sorry for your loss of this beloved and precious man of God! He certainly leaves a hole that no one else can fill. We love you Joe and family!

August 27, 2020 at 12:52 amMary and I just came back from the viewing of quite a man Joe Reis what I witnessed is a man a lot of people loved He appeared to be a man that was gran pa to a lot in general: Dad to lot of young men and young women: Joe the Honey Joe will be missed only for a short while till all who were there today will see Joe again very soon. This is my prayer that soon and very soon we will hear the trumpet sound and be caught away to meet Jesus in the air and join the cloud of witnesses so I speak peace unto all the family and friends that knew Joe. So as we join in truth and in spirit together to lift up Doris at this time in her life. Help to hold her together and may she be blessed beyond. God and Jesus and the Holy Spirit are the main cradle with great arms to hold and keep her while we wait for the sound of the trumpet call. Love from Dale & Mary Howard.
