Joe Zimmerman, 60 of Turlock passed away at home on January 7, 2020. He moved to Turlock in 1987 and became very involved in Radio Controlled Airplanes. Joe was president of the AMA club at one time. He loved flying for pleasure and racing.
Joseph was a loving brother and uncle. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his sister Theresa Griffiths on Dove Canyon, and her husband David as well as his nieces Jennifer Griffiths O’Hare and Ashley Griffiths.
He is preceded in death by his parents Lloyd and Rose Zimmerman and his brother Lloyd A. Zimmerman.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at Turlock Memorial Park. Following will be a reception at the Turlock Airport.
