First…..my heart felt condolences to my cousin, aunt and the family. My uncle was a good man. Yes, he was tough talking and a straight shooter but there was a soft heart in him too. My uncle took care of me when I was born. He was 20 years old when he came home to help my mom who was bed ridden. He changed my diapers, fed me my bottle when I was hungry, carried me when I cried, covered me when I was cold and comfort me when I needed attention. My uncle as modest as he was would just smile when he would look at me as an adult now…….like telling me I looked after you as a baby and now I see you all grown up.. I loved my uncle like I did my dad. My heart aches now and I stand here in alone wanting to feel his touch and touch him again. I want to thank him again for his tender heart and love. I feel empty but I know he is at rest and in good hands. I love you Tio and I will miss you a lot. Until then……

    Javier,
Remembering a man like your dad is an honor and great memories of our parents as they comparted our family lives. Don Juanito May god have you at his side thank you for teaching family values and being a great friend to my parents. They gave us love and discipline all at the same time weather we liked it or not. And I am thankful for that. I’m sure my mom was waiting for her compadre in heaven as he came in. Javier and family I know we are far apart but in our hearts we are close family too. God bless all of you be strong and blessings to you all and espescially your MOM.
    Romeo Herrera & Family.
