Katie E. York passed away Thursday, Sept. 6, 2018 at her home in Turlock. Katie was one of nine children born to Ned and Ethal Fultz in Yazoo, MS. She married Allan Lee York with whom she shared 27 years of marriage. Sadly he preceded her in death in 1994.
Katie was a homemaker and has been a resident of Turlock since 1997. She was a devoted mother who was energetic and free spirited. She loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren with her whole heart and enjoyed the times when the family all came together.
Katie is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, an infant sister Camie Mae , an infant brother Kirby, a son Richard Allan York and brother John Edward Fultz.
Katie is survived by her children, Sharon Louise Frank and Pamela Fountain. Ten grandchildren, Melissa, James, Tanya (Jakob), Jessica (John), Josh (Lucy), Jeremy (Gillian), Brandi, Nicolette (Andrew), Amber and Alyssa. 21 Great grandchildren and another on the way. Siblings, Effie Louise Fultz, Eadie Lee Fultz, James (Bud) Burton Fultz, Robert Lee Fultz and Frankie May Koehn.
A Memorial Service and luncheon will be held Sunday, Sept. 9, 2018 at 4:00 PM at Allen Event Center; 239 N. Broadway, Turlock, CA 95380. Please share memories and condolences in the guestbook below.
