Larry A. Pacheco July 29, 1954 - February 12, 2022

July 1954 ~ February 2022

Larry Pacheco of Turlock, CA has passed away in his home at the age of 67.

Larry was a lifelong resident of Turlock and the Mountain View community. He worked at Lucas Dairy for 47 years. He loved his family and the Dodgers and Raiders, almost as much as he loved a great bargain and coupon.

Larry was a wonderful father and husband. He was the most amazing Po to his four boys and one sweet princess.

Larry spent many years dedicated to Mountain View Ballpark. He loved giving his time to a community that supported him through his young life. He was also an avid fast pitch player for Tell Dairy and American Dairy. He also played many years of softball with Diamond Hay.

Larry is survived by his wife Jackie Pacheco, his children Craig (Jill) Pacheco and Nichole (Angie) Dianna, his brother Eddie Pacheco, and his grandchildren Case, Cole and Cooper Pacheco, and Isabella and Turner Dianna.

A Memorial service will be held on February 24th beginning at 4:00pm and Allen Mortuary.

In lieu of flowers please donate to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.

I am heartbroken. Larry and I were mates for most of our youth. Together, we lived baseball. Together we created our own sandlot! Together we pitched melons for the Macedo ranch. Together we played for the pride of Mt View ball Park. Without any doubt, I never played ball with a player with a bigger heart. Life took us in different directions but he will always remain part of my Sandlot team. Love you! May the angels make your flight a glorious one! My love and condolences to the family!

    Hi
My name is Theresa Pacheco Gutierrez. My dad is Tom Pacheco and my mom is Maria (Mary). My dad and Larry’s grandpa are brothers therefore he is my cousin. I remember my uncle Ed, Larry’s dad very much. He was an amazing man and great family member.
We have so many memories together like the Fourth of July spent at their house and many more. He had the best personality. When we were around each other it was also the best time. He will be missed and remembered the best way possible always by his family.

  4. Dan Louis says

My first year of playing softball was on Larry’s team in 1976 ! He lead our team in hitting, and I was a close second, and he made sure he reminded me of that every time I saw him !! Great, fun-loving, hard working muscular country boy who I admired and respected !! Although I looked passed the fact that he was a Dodger fan , I loved talking sports with Larry ! My heartfelt condolences to Jackie and the family ! Blessings from Florida !

My heart goes out to Larrys family. I’ve known Larry for many many years (too many to count) and he always had a smile on his face except when maybe the feed truck broke down. He was just an all around great guy. RIP Larry.

Larry always wore a smile. He had only kind words to say and was so devoted to his family. He had a strong work ethic and would always do the right thing.
May God bless the family, the loss of Larry is much too early.
