She was beautiful inside and out, unless of course, you were in her way, in “her” kitchen. Beware of the Wrath of Linda. The kitchen was never big enough for all of us! She took great pride in all her cooking. Her meals were phenomenal, her jello conglomerations -a delight, her breads, holiday goodies, and cookies touched the sweet tooth of many. We are all so thankful some of these were passed down! Linda fulfilled every title given to her, from Daughter to Great-Grandmother, with the utmost grace and love. Her journey in life has been blessed with unfaltering love from every person she touched, from Turlock Cleaners in the 80’s, Dean’s Pizza through the 90’s, and Olde Tyme Pastries in the 2000’s, until retirement. She enjoyed years of traveling the states with Stan, discovering everything they possibly could. From car races to Pismo beach to antique shops, trinkets to treasures, they collected the famous Carolers to match our family members and of course”¦..aaaallllll those chickens (should have had a barn for those”¦.too many for the house to hold). She was full of life and laughter. As a wife-loving, dedicated, and true, as a mother-strong and nurturing, as a friend-devoted and amazing, as Yaya & Grandma Linda”¦.well, she spoiled each one. “My house”¦.My Rules”. No matter what house she lived in, she made it a home”¦..full of love and plenty of homemade chocolate chip cookies. Linda loved music and playing the piano, which she did for many many years at Denair Friends Church. If she wasn’t playing, you could count on hearing her humming a song as she went about her daily chores. She was also given the gift of sewing. Many have been showered with the infamous embroidered kitchen towels. Her gifts and talents have touched so many. Her precious soul and quick witted sense of humor will live on in all of us. It is with much gratitude, we ask that any donations be forwarded to Covenant Care Hospice, 125 N Broadway Ste 1A, Turlock, CA 95380.

Linda is survived by her husband Stan Walton; children Sandy Hall, Sheri (Brad) Catlett, Kenny (Michelle) Walton; step children Chris (Katrina) Walton and Bridget (Steve) Hittesdorf; brother Ronald (Doris) Libby; ten grandchildren and one great grandchild.  She was preceded in death by her parents Glenn and Opal Libby; brother Donald Libby and son in law Robin Hall.

Memorial service will be held at Denair Friends Church, 4033 N Gratton Rd. in Denair on Friday, August 9, 2019 at 3:00p.m.

I remember Linda when I attended Denair Friends Church. She played the piano so beautifully. Blessings to the Family.
