Linda Rose Richardson, 67, of Turlock, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family after a short battle with cancer. Linda was born in San Diego, California to Manuel Mendoza and Emily Flores in 1948. She was a barber/stylist for 35 years. With the opening of Linda’s Barber Shop, on First Street in Turlock 10 years ago, she achieved her dream of owning her own business.

Linda enjoyed each and every one of her customers as they also became her friends. She was devoted to her God, her family, and her church. Linda spent hours cooking for and feeding the homeless. Her dream was to see the completion of the Turlock Gospel Mission.

She is survived by her daughters Rosemarie (Anthony) Muñoz and Lisa Richardson (Victor Gamboa) 2 sisters Doreen Miller and Patricia Hopkins, 1 brother Gilbert Mendoza, 6 Grandchildren and 4 Great-Grandchildren and her dear friend/sister Debbie Bookil. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her. Linda is preceded in death by her parents and sister Diana Navarro, great-grandson Jayden Muñoz.

Celebration of Life will be at Allen Mortuary on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at 1:00 p.m.
