Mr. Loreto Canales Jr, 80, passed away August 17, 2014 at Turlock Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born August 2, 1934 in Texas, to Loreto and Delores Canales. Loreto served in the United States Army. After his honorable discharge he settled in Oakland, California and worked for General Motors for 35 years. After his retirement he settled in Turlock, California.
He is survived by his children Jane, Virginia, Maria, Lizzie, Loretta and Josephine; many grandchildren, great grandchildren as well as great great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife Angelina, his children, Teresa, Marie, Rey, and Timothy; as well as several siblings.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Turlock Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for their gentle love and care.
A memorial service will be held at Allen Mortuary on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at 3:00 pm.
