Margery Stockton, 74, passed away unexpectedly at her Turlock home. Margery was born in Perham, MN to Tony and Helen Levy. She began her schooling in Minnesota and graduated from Richmond High School in California. She married Alton Clendenin and they had two children. Alton passed away in 1973. She owned and operated the Erwin City Saloon in the 1980s. It was a fun place to meet friends and hang out. Margery’s strong voice was unmistakable. She enjoyed puzzles, knitting, and playing dominoes and bingo. She was also a member of the VFW.

Margery was dearly loved by her family and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her children: Tony & Deanna Clendenin of Merced and Louie & Tracy Lopes of Hilmar; two sisters Linda Wingate and Vikki Williams, both of Turlock; grandchildren: Tony Clendenin Jr, Samuel & Jessica Clendenin, and Kristopher Tipton; great grandson Samuel Clendenin; nieces Alexa, Summer, and Kelli Williams, and great nephew Davian Urrea.

A Private family Celebration of Life is planned.
