Marilyn Scott, age 79, of Turlock passed away on Monday, September 28, 2020. Marilyn was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. She lived in Arizona before coming to Turlock in 2005 where she worked for J.C. Penney for over 15 years. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and loved her church friends at New Life Christian Center.
Marilyn is survived by her children Harry Ferrel, Cathy Powell, Tressa Polk, Tracy Jo Ahern, Gary Bruder, and Greg Scott; 13 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and also survived by her sister Carol Carrico.
A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at Allen Mortuary on Oct. 17, 2020 at 1pm.

October 15, 2020 at 3:23 amMarilyn was a part of our bible study group and always made us smile. She was intent in learning all she could about the Bible and her Lord. She always asked thought provoking questions and was such a great addition to the group. We were sorry when health issues kept her from attending. My thoughts, prayers and condolences got out to her family, but just know that she is rejoicing in Heaven with her Savior. She got to start her eternity before the rest of us!
