Michael Duane Franck

Michael Duane Franck, 60 of Turlock, passed away at his home on May 20, 2014. Michael was born in Clovis CA, raised in Modesto and lived most of his adult life in Turlock.
Michael spent his early years logging with his older brother Robert in the Sierra Nevada Mountains and loved to share stories of his experiences with his family and friends. For over 10 years, Michael was employed by Gallo, specializing in heavy equipment operation and was instrumental in creating many new vineyards in the valley. He was then employed as the landfill manager with Stanislaus County for 26 plus years and demonstrated an exemplary work ethic until he retired in 2010. Michael was an avid country music fan, fisherman, Nascar lover and die hard SF 49er fan. Michael loved his family more than life itself and enjoyed spending time with them; especially his granddaughter who always put a smile on his face.

Michael is survived by his father Eugene Franck (Vera); his wife, Joan Franck; son Sean (Kim) Franck; daughter Mandie (Brendan) Glasser; granddaughter Mia Franck; siblings, Robert Franck, Debra Howard and Terri Jeremy. Michael was preceded in death by his mother, Rose Tope.

There will be a Celebration of Life this Saturday, May 24th at 1 pm at Crane Park, 1555 E. Canal Drive Turlock, CA.
