Dad, I have so many memories that I don’t even know where to start. Thank you for always being there for me no matter what..even if I was 100% wrong YOU had my back. You taught me that no matter what family always came first. Im lost without you here and my heart is broken. You fought so hard and I thank you for that, cause I know you were tired. Your not in pain anymore and that gives me a little peace, but I’m selfish and I wish you were here. I love you and miss you dad and I’m gonna make you proud. Please watch over us.

RIP Randy. I will always remember that smile and the love you had for your family. I took care of Kim when she was tiny and you would come by any time just to hold and love her. Your family and friends will always love and miss you.

  12. Kim Griffin DeLong says

    Dad,
Thank you for so many great memories in my life. I remember many hot California desert days up on a roof with you. The job that stands out the most was “hot mopping ” a flat roof in mid-summer- who does that? Lol you taught me that the work has to get done, no matter how uncomfortable. You were so proud to have “Rock n Roll Roofing” and let me help you Roof the Rockies when I would come visit in Colorado.
I remember being at Grandpa and Grandma’s house with you and you could walk down the porch stairs, to the sidewalk and all the way to the stop sign ON YOUR HANDS! I can’t even tell you how many years of my life I spent trying to walk on my hands so I could be just like you. I’m not sure what I was ever going to do with that skill I worked so hard at (I can hear you chuckling right here)
When you weren’t working hard, you were playing harder 🙂 I loved playing pool with you – I think you even let me sneak in a win once in awhile so you could keep me playing. I never played a hand of poker with you, I think I was scared 🙂
You also taught me the value of family. I know there is nothing in the world my daddy wouldn’t do for me.
Rest easy and watch over us all. I love you dearly.
    “Kimmie”

  14. Darlene Kimbrough says

WOW Randy back in the day when a group of us would get together at the teenage hang out on Geer and Monte Vista to shoot pool. None of us were 21 yet but after the pool hall closed we’d go have a few beers out in the country. You also loved playing the coin operated pinball machines at the pool hall also. You had the top score on about every machine. A few years later numerous nights a group would get together and play poker all night long at someone’s house those were some good times and fun times. You will be so missed. Taken from your family and friends way to soon. RIP my partner and friend.

  15. Darlene Kimbrough says

RIP my life long partner/friend. I have so many memories going back to the winter 1971 and forward to present. Such a strong proud man. You were taken away way to young. You gave a good hard fight against the cancer that took you from all of us. Now you can watch over all of us from above as you did when here walking with us. I hope you knew how much your family and friends all loved you. Knowing you are no longer in pain is our comfort now. You will be missed. Again RIP Randy.

  16. Delinda De La Cruz says
