Rick Reinaldo Mendoza October 6, 1981 - March 31, 2022

Rick Mendoza was born in Redwood City, California to Leeroy and Morena (Monterrosa) Mendoza on October 6, 1981.  He came to Turlock at a young age and attended Turlock High School.  He then moved to Merced where he graduated High School in 1999.  He worked in construction for 15 years and enjoyed cutting hair, and BBQing for family and friends, but most of all he loved spending time with his children.

Rick is survived by his children Malikeye, Symphony, and Nehemiah; his sister Rosemarie Cortez; stepbrother Zack Jr. Alexander; parents Morena and Zack Alexander; and niece Mikaela Jimenez.

Visitation will begin at 12pm on Friday, April 8, 2022 with the funeral to follow at 1pm at Allen Mortuary.

    Ricky was a bright spark in this world, I still hear the giggle in his laugh. He fought a tough life but he has finished the course. Sometimes God makes better choices for us than we could have ever made for ourselves, God has big plans for you kid, know that you will be missed dearly!     I’m gonna really miss you cousin all the good times that we had can never be forgotten. I will do all I can to help look over your children and family until I see you again on the other side. Make sure you share some of them great jokes with God that you did with us down here and hook him up with some of that fire grub that you always made us.
