Rosie Walters

August 1952 – November 2011

Rosie Walters, 59, of Hickman passed away at Emanuel Medical Center on Monday, November 21st. She was born in San Joaquin, CA to Manual and Paula Rivas in 1952. She was raised in Morgan Hill, CA and had lived in San Jose and the Bay Area. In 1986, she moved to Hughson and settled in Hickman in 1999. She had worked as a data entry operator for over 40 years. Rosie was a member of The Healing Place in Hughson. She enjoyed bingo, and when you could not find her, she could have been at the Chicken Ranch in Jamestown.

Rosie was survived by her husband Doyce Walters of Hickman, CA; children Anthony Higuera of San Jose, CA and Paula Woodard of Waterford, CA; siblings Robert Rivas, Senaida Villialba and Sally Velez; grandchildren Alexi, Nathan, Elin, Aden, Aleya, Benjamin, Jaycee and Isaac. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Arrangements are entrusted to Allen Mortuary. A celebration of life will be held at The Healing Place on Tuesday, November 29th at 1:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 2720 Gateway Oaks Drive, Sacramento, CA 95833.
