Scott A. White August 27, 1963 - May 13, 2022

August 27, 1963 – May 13, 2022

Scott A. White was born in Atlantic, Iowa on August 27, 1963. On the 13th day of May 2022, he received a call, a sort of an offer you can’t refuse, for an appointment from which he will not be returning. The assignment comes with a huge sign on bonus, a reunion with family and friends he has not seen in a long time.

Scott was born to Richard Paul and Eleanor Kay White. He grew up in Iowa and graduated from Atlantic High School.  He graduated from Northwest Missouri State University with a degree in communications. And boy, did he like to talk. Scott was always charming and persuasive, the type of person “that could sell ice cubes to Eskimos.” Scott was the happiest sharing a cup of coffee with family and friends and reminiscing about the good ole times.

After college, Scott joined the United States Air Force. Flying was the love of his life. After he retired, he would always say that he misses being in a fighter jet and referred to it as his office. After serving in the Air Force, he moved to California where he became a Deputy Sheriff for Stanislaus County.

Scott was pre-deceased by his parents Richard and Eleanor White as well as his brother Randy White. Scott leaves behind his beloved wife, Agnieszka, sons Alexander and Jakub, and his daughter Sarah.

A memorial service will be held on Friday May 27, 2022, at 11:00AM at Good Shephard Lutheran Church in Turlock (640 N Minaret Ave).  Scott faced his mortality like he faced his life, with humor. He would jokingly tell his wife to just throw him in the ocean after he dies so he can become fish food. Much to his disappointment he will be properly buried with full military honors next to his brother Randy White on Friday June 10, 2022, at 11:00AM in Dalmanutha Cemetery in Casey, Iowa.
