Shirley Mae Snelling

January 1922 – October 2011

Shirley Snelling-Miller, 89, of Denair, was born in Anniston, Alabama to John and Nannie Ingram, one of five children. She was married to George “Red” Snelling for 59 years. They had one son, Larry, who preceded them in death in 1993. Shirley was also preceded in death by her 5 siblings. She later married Laurence Miller of Turlock who passed away in 2005. Shirley was an active member of the First Southern Baptist Church of Denair, sang in their choir for several years, and taught Sunday School for a few years.

A funeral service for Shirley will be held at the First Southern Baptist Church of Denair on Tuesday, October 18th at 10:00 am. Memorial contributions in her name should be designated for the First Southern Baptist Church Building Fund, 4528 N. Gratton Road, Denair, CA 95316.
