Wesley Cederlind, 88, of Turlock, passed away at Alexander Cohen Hospice House. Wesley was born to Emil and Dorothy Cederlind in Newman Grove, Nebraska. He attended schools in Hilmar, CA, Belmont High School in LA and Pasadena City College. He served 3 years in World War II in England and France. After the war, Wesley married the love of his life, Grace Meyer, in Hollywood in 1948. He worked in the manufacture of concrete equipment and later became a licensed real estate broker and speculator. In 1985 he retired after serving 20 years as a Corrections Officer with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Wesley was preceded in death by his wife Grace in 2003 after 55 years of marriage. He is survived by three children: Virginia (Richard) Pavlovsky of Covina, CA, Carol (Terry) Williamson of Couer d’Alene, ID, Steven (Julie) Cederlind of Turlock, two grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
Visitation for Wesley will be at Allen Mortuary on Wednesday, Nov. 2nd from 4:00- 7:00 pm. Funeral Service is scheduled for Allen Mortuary on Thursday, Nov. 3rd at 10:00 am followed by burial at Turlock Memorial Park.
