William R. Pennington, “Ron”, born in Flint, MI on January 27, 1939 to William H. and Faye M. Pennington, passed away peacefully on October 17, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. Left to cherish his memories are his devoted wife of 37 years, Karen, his children Kathryn (Sam), Greg (Tami), Lorii (Craig), Leisa (Neil), Colette (Jim), Larry, Deirdre (Shawn), Dan (Minna) and Shannon (Rob), as well as 24 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. Ron also leaves behind his brother Jerry (Barbara), and sister Jeanette.

Ron was, among many other things, an Air Force veteran, a 49er fan, a coach, a barber, an avid fisherman, golf fanatic and beloved patriarch. Ron and his family created many wonderful memories camping together at Lake Almanor over the years. This beautiful area has become a second home to the entire family and will become his final resting place. While Ron spent alot of time pursuing his love of the outdoors, he is best known for his continuous desire to make people laugh. Always the life of the party, his flair for telling stories and jokes was his gift he shared with all of us.

A wonderful life, cut a bit too short, he will be sorely missed but NEVER forgotten. RIP
