Cindy Mello, beloved wife, daughter, sister, cousin, and friend. Cindy was born in Salinas, CA. She lived in Denair, CA, Puerto Rico, Tacoma, WA, Boston, MA, and Rogers, AR. She graduated from Denair High School in 1985 and Stanislaus State University in 1989. She retired from the United States Postal Service in 2021.
She loved gathering together with friends and family to celebrate any occasion. In her free time she supported and founded multiple charities as she had a generous, compassionate heart. She embarked on every adventure possible from roller coasters, hanging off of skyscrapers to zip lining to sky diving.
She is survived by her husband, John William Mello of Denair, her father Ronald Chambers of Denair, her siblings Cindy Hutsell of Turlock, Cathy Chambers of Covington, LA, Steven Chambers of Hughson, David McDougal of Salinas, CA, Patrick McDougal of Salinas, CA, and Ben Storment, Jr. of Tehama, CA. She is preceded in death by her mother, Nadine Chambers and her birth mother, Barbara McDougal.
Per her wishes, family and friends will be celebrating her life at her church Saturday, October 8, 2022 at 11:00am at Empire Assembly of God Church, Empire, CA.
