She was born in Village Kala Sanghian, Punjab, India on February 14th, 1923 and rest in peace on March 28th, 2020. She lived 97 plus years and passed away suddenly without any diseases at her son’s residence around 10 am after taking her morning bath. She had three brothers and three sisters. She was the second sister in the family of six and was the last one left in the family. She married a doctor in 1941 and became a housewife and moved to another town with her husband and was blessed with four children, three sons and one daughter, and also blessed with seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She believed in a simple lifestyle with family values.
She immigrated to the USA in 1999 with her husband and lived in Merced, CA with their sons for twenty plus years and enjoyed a great life. Her husband later passed away in 2008 at the age of 89 years old. He was a medical doctor in India.
She was vegetarian and believed in one God, and helped the needy humankind during her time of the life journey.
Darshana Devi Kainth finally completed her life journey on March 28th, 2020 at her son’s residence peacefully and suddenly. May God rest her soul in peace.
