Donald Wayne Williams passed away on September 13, 2018.  He was born in Hayward, California.  Don was a loving husband, father and grandfather.  He was a grocery store manager for 48 years and retired at the age of 70 from FoodMaxx.

Don enjoyed the western life.  He loved riding horses, camping and being around the campfire with friends and family.  He also enjoyed driving his tractor in parades with his farmer friends.

Don leaves behind his wife of 12 years Audrey Williams, daughter Lisa Williams, son Jacob Williams, sisters Dorthea Charlston and Dolores Newby, stepdaughters Miranda and Ashley, grandchildren Nick, Pedro, Bryann, Austin, Kalei, Alexus, Trevor, and Aubree, and a great granddaughter Violet.

A celebration of life service will be held at Allen Mortuary on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 2:00p.m.

    To the Williams family I had the true pleasure to work for Don and enjoyed every minute with him we would drink coffee together in the back of warehouse and talk politics and other things I really felt it was special and always enjoyed his colorful way of expression and his strength as a good fair man a (real American cowboy)I was and very saddened for our loss of a really good man but I thank GOD for the time I got to know him.

    Dear don hey it’s me Robin Daniels my heart is heavy and very sad, I will miss you so very much. When you hired me at Foodmaxx as a person of my age you had , trust in me I remember, I asked if you would put an X on the top of my application so they would know to pick me to higher and you did with a smile and a chuckle, you were so smart, kind, helpful and always had a joke or something to make me laugh . Don, you called me “Daniels ” I will never forget you how could I, please enjoy that GOLD Horse with diamod reigns at that pearly gate and say hi to my mom and grandma, you will always be in my heart, like dale evenssaods “until we meet again ” rest my friend for ever love Robin Daniels Regards to Mr. Williams loving family

    You were the only father figure I had in my life growing up and I appreciate that so much. You were a great role model and always made me me laugh. Thank you for always treating me like family. Even though it has been quite a while since I have seen you, I did have the pleasure of talking to you not too long ago, and I am so happy about that. Rest in peace Donny.

    I remember when I was a lil child I would get shoulder rides from my uncle donny. and when donny got older he reminded me of tony orlando of tony orlando and dawn the singing group and i thought he was just so handsome. and he always had the coolest cars from sting rays, to mustangs, Uncle donny we love you
