Joaquin Roque Valles, 82, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on April 9, 2023 in Turlock, CA.
He was born in Litchfield Park, Arizona on August 16th 1940 to Ramon and Trinidad Valles. He was married to Gloria Valles and they had three children together: Diana Lynn Pristas, Joaquin Enrique Valles and Angelica Valles-Lopez.
He is survived by his 3 children; 10 grandchildren: Rudy Delgado, Joaquin Onate, Carlos Onate, Matthew Valles, Joey Valles, Kandis Valles, Mercedes Valles, Javier Lopez, Andrea Pristas and Angel Lopez; 17 great grandchildren, his sister Maria Pacheco, and many nieces and nephews. Joaquin was preceded in death by his grandson Francisco who died in 2002.
Joaquin loved to be surrounded by his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren barbequing and listening to his favorite artist, Vicente Fernandez. He loved telling stories of his childhood and spending time with family.
Joaquin worked for the Butchers Union for over 30 years in the Bay Area, retired and moved to Escalon and then finally to Turlock.
His services will be held on Saturday, April 29th at 1:00 pm at Allen Mortuary, 247 N. Broadway, Turlock CA. We will then have a celebration of life at the home of his daughter, Angelica in Modesto after the service.
