John Osborne Adams September 19, 1956 - August 12, 2022

In loving memory of John Osborne Adams, 65 of Turlock CA, passed away on August 12, 2022. Johnny was born September 19, 1956.
Johnny dreamt of becoming a truck driver and fulfilled that dream the year before he passed. Previously he was an optician for many years and took great pride in his work. He also was a talented handyman and there wasn’t anything he couldn’t repair, build, or create. His hobbies included making crocheted afghans, clocks, belt buckles and jewelry. He once made a beautiful belt buckle for Waylon Jennings, something he was very proud of, which was featured on the album cover Goin’ Down Rockin’. He passionately loved riding his Harley and never took that freedom for granted. From sunup to sundown, he gave everyone and everything 100% and nothing less. He knew what was most important in life, and that was loving God, family and friends fiercely.
Johnny is survived by his wife, Samantha Adams; stepchildren, Christina (Zac), Anneke Van Dyk (Frankie) and Katinka (Justin); grandchildren Brook and Avery; sisters Kelly (James), Anita, Laura Lee, Paula, Debra, Mary Jane and Mary Lou; brothers Joseph, Jerald, Thomas, Kevin and Rufus. He is preceded in death by his parents Rufus Homer and Georgia J. Adams, and brother George.
Johnny will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts and prayers.
Visitation will be held from 4pm to 7pm on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at Allen Mortuary, 247 N. Broadway in Turlock. A graveside service will be held at 10am on Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at Lakewood Memorial Park, 900 Santa Fe Ave in Hughson.
