LoRayne was born in Le Grand, CA to Lilburn and Ordell Owen and passed away at the age of 88 in Turlock. She worked for JC Penney for many years and also for Jewel’s Dress Shop in Turlock. She enjoyed volunteering her time for various organizations including hospice, Osborn Elementary School, and Community Continuum College.

She is survived by her children Jill Francine (Wayne) Carlson, Lance Dewitt (Cyndi) Cain and Jan Cain; grandchildren Kimberly Jantz, Shawna Collier, Andrew Carlson, Anne Marie Cain-Smith and Erin Leigh Black; and twelve great grandchildren.

LoRayne was preceded in death first by her husband Herman Dewitt Cain, then by husband John Holmes, and her parents.
