Maria Fatima (Almeida) Maciel, age 86 of Gustine, CA, passed away on June 11, 2022. She was born in February of 1936 to Jose and Teresa Almeida in Sao Jorge, Azores. She lived in Gustine for 40 years. Maria loved gardening and plants.
Maria is preceded in death by her parents Jose and Teresa Almeida, husband Antonio Maciel and two brothers.
Maria is survived by her daughter Ines (Derrick); three grandsons Don (Goarette), Zachary (Nicki), and Brent Jarvis; 4 great grandsons; and her sister Zelda Almeida.
Visitation will be held from 4pm – 6pm at Allen Mortuary on Monday, June 20, 2022.
Private services will be held. Maria will be laid to rest next to her husband at Hilmar Cemetery.
