Robert William Walker, 87 of Turlock, passed away on June 18, 2026 at his home.
He was born in Perris, California on January 12, 1939, to Robert and Edna (Glenn) Walker. He was married to Denise Mc Anany and had four children. He was the Stanislaus County Fair Manager for 20 years and 50 years Hall of Famer for the Western Fairs Association (WFA). He was an avid golfer and a devoted Irishman.
Robert was a member of Rotary, Kiwanis and Knights of Columbus.
Robert is survived by his children, Rebecca Martin of Turlock, Patrick Walker of La Quinta, Ca, Scott Walker of Laguna Nigel, Ca, and Laura Moore of Turlock, Ca. He also leaves behind his brother, James Walker of Idaho, Six grandchildren and Five great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers, Edward Walker and Ronald Walker.
A celebration of Robert’s life will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, June 27 at the Stanislaus County Fairgrounds, 900 N. Broadway in Turlock., at Building E-3.
